Join us at 7pm on Saturday 5th March for a special evening of excellent food and great company in a fabulous setting.
The Venue
The event will be held at Newmarket’s premier corporate entertainments and hospitality venue, The Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa where we can enjoy Two AA Rosette dining and private cash bar throughout the evening.
The Speaker
We are excited to announce that our Guest Speaker will be Shusanah Pillinger, who in 2015 became the first British Woman to complete the Race Across America, solo.
Shu started in triathlon in 2006 but went on to become an ultra swimmer, ultra cyclist, ultra runner and ultra triathlete. She became the national ladies champion at double Ironman distance in 2013. In the course of training for Ironman, Shu got involved in longer and longer cycling events, completing John O’Groats to Land’s End, London to Paris, London to Edinburgh to London and a 24hr time trial where she qualified for the World’s Toughest Cycle Race – the 3000 mile Race Across America. In June 2015, Shu became the first ever British woman to finish RAAM solo.
Shu will be sharing her experiences and taking Q&A on the evening.
The Awards
Awards for Club trophies and achievements will be given out throughout the evening. Join us to celebrate Members’ successes and your own!
The Details
- Tickets are £35 per head (£17.50 for Junior Members)
- Price includes a three course dinner, coffee and chocolates
- Carriages are at 11:30pm (for those competing the next day!)
- Non-members welcome
- Dress code is jacket and tie
