Sessions start in November and will run up to December – where there will be a break for Christmas – they will start again in the New Year and continue until March, ready for our TT calendar which starts at the beginning of April.
We have a new venue this year. Sessions will now be held at The Racing Centre, Fred Archer Way, Newmarket, CB8 8NT
The sessions are free to club members.
Sessions will start at 7:00pm so its advised to arrive by 18.45pm if possible to set up and be ready to start promptly. Each session will last about 1 hour.
Spin bikes are available on a first come first served basis (£2 charge per bike per session), but you can also bring your own bike and turbo trainer if you have one. If you don’t have your own turbo, the club has five spare ones for members to use but you may well need a ‘turbo quick release skewer’ for your back wheel as not all skewers are suitable for turbo use.
You’ll also need a drink and a towel for sweat management!
These sessions are structured so they will differ each week, bringing you to a ‘racing level of fitness’ by April.
