Peck Takes Gold!
Veteran athlete Dave Peck won gold in his 75-79 age group at the European Duathlon Championships, held in Serres, Greece, to add to his silver he won at the 2006 world championships.
Dave finished the 10km run, 40km bike, 5km run in a total time of 2hr 56min 7sec despite tempreatures in the high 20s. Fellow GB and NC&TC team mate Robin Taylor finished seventh in the 55-59 age group in a total time of 2hr 32min 53sec.
